Beginning in 2019 LTFCs will now be subject to re-hospitalization penalties very similar to what the hospitals have been experiencing since 2013. The participant will be provided back ground information on this issue as well what those penalties will be for LTCFs. The participant will also be presented with best practices on how best to avoid hospitalizations as well as strategies on how to best to treat in place in the LTCF.
